The live Internet stream on our homepage has been down all day. Charter cable internet in downtown Worcester is having trouble today, so the stream isn’t leaving the building. We’re planning on purchasing a backup internet connection to prevent downtime like this in the future.
FWIW, the WCCA stream uses the PEG.TV service from TelVue, which uses the extremely fast and reliable Akamai streaming service. In other words, when the stream isn’t working it usually means that it’s not leaving the WCCA building, so either some equipment on our end died or our ISP is having issues.
