Grant Awarded for Our Young Video Promoters of Local Music Project

Written by joseph

We received great news this month!  We have been awarded a grant for a new program called our Young Video Promoters of Local Music Project.  In this program, we will be providing low-income/at-risk youth with the opportunity to learn new high-quality video editing skills using professional level video editing software and equipment.  They will learn these skills by taking footage of local musical performing artists (some footage from our program Bandedge), and turn this footage into a high-quality  promotional video for the local musical artist scene in Worcester.   This program is supported in part by a grant from the Worcester Arts Council, a local agency which is supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency (You can learn more about these agencies by clicking their logos on this web page).
