The Great Egg Hunt Start: 2:34 pm End: 2:34 pm Capen Hill Nature Sanctuary, Route 20, Charlton, MA presents The Great Egg Hunt, our 23rd year fundraiser for this non-profit sanctuary. 5400 eggs are decorated to look like animals and then hidden along our 72 acres of trails. Come anytime during hunt hours. No rush, find prize eggs, live animals in visitor's center, face painting, balloons, refreshments, and hunt bunny. $10 per family ($5 for an individual). Call 508-248-5516 for info or visit our website at www.capenhill.org. 226 reads Worcester Public Schools Advanced Placement Family Awareness Event Start: 6:00 pm End: 8:00 pm PLEASE PUBLISH IMMEDIATELY: On Wednesday, March 28, 2007, at Quinsigamond Community College from 6-8 pm, the Worcester Public Schools is hosting an Advanced Placement Family Awareness evening for students in grades 6, 7 and 8 and their families to discuss the importance of taking rigorous classes in middle school to better prepare them for AP courses in high school as well as college courses. We are estimating 300 people will attend this event. The purpose of the Advanced Placement Family Awareness Event is to provide students and their families with information at an early age in order for them to make appropriate educational choices. To that end, this interactive family event is designed to raise awareness of the Advanced Placement Program offered in the Worcester Public Schools. James A. Caradonio, Superintendent of the Worcester Public Schools and Robert Layne, Director of Outreach Programs and Worcester Pipeline collaborative Coordinator will be speaking at this event.
