Dinner in a Meadow

You are invited...
to an event coming up this Sunday, October 14 at 5 pm, called Dinner
in a Meadow. It is an outdoor event, at dusk and then under the stars,
occurring in the wildlife clearing at Cascades West. It is rain or
shine as we are borrowing a large tent from MassAudubon.
This is the Land Trust's first attempt at such a thing, so this year
we have decided to scale it back a little from our original plan of
providing the entire meal and it is now a potluck. However, we are
providing the main dish, which will be pheasant with wild rice and a
field green salad, and we are asking people to bring a dish or
dessert. We are also giving people an option of pheasant or bring your
own meat or vegetarian option to grill. All of the cooking will be
done on an open flame or cook stove. The cost of the pheasant meal is
$25, bring your own is $10. We are providing coffee, fresh cider, and water.
