Recognizing the importance of celebrating and encouraging youth media activities at WCCA TV, we believe it is important to acknowledge the hard work and creativity of all our youth media participants. We encourage continued participation of interns from local colleges, youth volunteers, peer trainers, and local youth program partnerships with Dynamy Inc, Community Connections (WPS), and the Youth Center have worked in close partnerships with WCCA TV for many years. The results of their works have expanded the scope of our local youth voices, build community bridges, and in numerous cases have inspired meaningful careers in media for many as professional communicators and teachers of media arts.

WCCA TV youth media programs are focused upon giving local youth a hands on experiential learning opportunity to a large range of media related skills from citizen journalism, all phases of TV / video production and distribution, public speaking, public service, and civic engagement.

Thanks to everyone for their help and support.

Youth Honor Awards recieves a nice letter

Sent to WCCA today:

We had to rush out last night after the event because Lori had 4
daughters she had to pick up.  We did not get a chance to thank you in
person.  I just want to tell you what a nice time we had.  We learned a
lot about your organization, your supporters and you. We were impressed
with the depth and breadth of your programming. It warmed our heart to
see Nathan receive his award and have his Powerpoint on display. (Thanks
for the copy, by the way.) Finally, we love the recognition certificate
we received!!  We were particularly impressed with the way you
personalized each certificate, and Lori read ours over to me several
times as I drove her back to her car.  She plans meeting with the
college president to show her the certificate.  We are so honored.
Thank you for everything you have done for our two students.......both
have had transformative experiences working with you at WCCATV.
I am looking forward to next year.  We are going to meet on some of your
suggestions about transitioning the students from classroom to
internship and thank you for your input.
Enjoy your summer and thanks again,
Paula Donahue, QCC, Project Triumph
