Submitted by editor on June 12, 2006 - 12:50pm.

Senator John Kerry speaks about public access TV during a visit to Worcester, June 12, 2006. You can download the mp4 or see other formats.
There's a tally of where Senators stand on Net Neutrality compiled by Talking Points Memo. Thank you, Senator Kerry, for supporting this!

Keep on him! Don't let this
Keep on him! Don't let this just be a sound bit. Call his office. Call Ted's office too. Keep this issue alive.
You bet. We ALL have to
You bet. We ALL have to "Keep On" him. We now really should be contacting Sen. Kerry and
ALL
the Senators on the Commerce Committee. We can not let this slide.
Refer to S.2686 (the "STEVENS bill" aka Cope Bill). Ask them to Demand, at a minimum, a continuation of current existing monetary and non-monetary franchise provisions to support our PEG channels ( Channels such as WCCA TV 13 ). Ideally these franchise funds should be guaranteed as a "must be dedicated exclusively" for Public Access/PEG use.
CALL THEM NOW. Cut and paste the above and make it your own, if it is convenient for you. Let us not allow our government and these giant corporations sell us out. At best we may have until June 20th or the 22nd as I understand it. take action quickly.
Do you notice how there is very little written or announced about this in the main stream media ?
Thanks
