Thank you

Soapbox has been such a privilege to be a part of. Over the years it has taken on a life of it’s own. I am constantly amazed, with each episode, of how much this city has to offer. Each Soapbox episode reminds me about all the wonderful talent, creativity and resources that inspire and raise the quality of life for all of us in Worcester. I truly believe in this public access concept. Soapbox, like WCCA TV is democracy in action through a free speech open forum. Everyone has a voice and each individual voice should have an opportunity to be heard. Viewing this video, from an anthropological perspective, you can see how much I may have physically changed, but my heart for the public access movement, for social justice and for Worcester’s potential has not changed a bit, except to get stronger.
Thanks to all for making Soapbox such a success, our co-creators (the over 1200 guest who have appeared on the many episodes, the support WCCA has received from the city of Worcester, our underwriters over the years, WCCA’s Board of Directors, the staff of WCCA TV, and especially thanks to Tracy Foley who was the original associate director and current co-producer, and to Frank Rocco our current technical director. Thank you Charlie for this lovely surprise clip.
Please know everyone is invited to appear on Soapbox. Give us a call at 508-755-1880 ext 10. As always, I look forward to seeing you on WCCA TV 13, “The People’s Channel”.
