Worcester Community Cable Access

Talking Points and Contact Info

  • Any cut to WCCA’s funding would limit WCCA’s ability to address community media needs. Community produced television shows, teen central/youth channel after school program, internships, and other WCCA programs might be cut.
  • Any loss to WCCA would negatively impact Worcester’s cultural and civic landscape. (cuts to WCCA would contradict the Worcester Way Initiative to create a vibrant cultural future in Worcester.
  • WCCA recently conducted a focus group with representatives from different organizations in the city. The findings show that services provided by WCCA are highly valuable and critical for our community progress.
  • WCCA empowers community members. It engages citizens on a civic and creative level.
  • Call for the City Manager and City Council to continue to support WCCA through securing a stable and positive future.

Save our community ....times

Save our community ....times are hard enough to lose the only good thing Worcester has to offer our diverse community will be in trouble. The station give us a place to express our cultures and freedom to learn. Keep WCCA alive: Thanks Maria D

Lets save our public access tv

Worcester has so many different cultures and I never realized how diverse it was until I watched TV13. It is wonderful that the community has a place to express what is really going on in the city. Worcester is not hollywood and I rather watch whats real and close to me and my family any day. Keep the station alive and available there are many other cable stations that we pay for and never watch lets get a grip on whats real.
