stART on the Street

Over 220 visual artists and crafters will be selling and displaying their works at stART on the Street '07: The Creative City, which will take place on Sunday, September 16 at our new time, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Park Avenue from Elm Street to Pleasant Street, Worcester, MA. The rain date is September 23.
The main stART performance stage will present:
- 11 a.m. Clark University string orchestra Sinfonia
- 11:40 a.m. Hey Now, Morris Fader (Alternative/Pop)
- 12:20 p.m. Keith Everett & the Orange Morris (Americana)
- 1 p.m. New York City pop music rocker Shannon Corey
- 1:40 p.m. Bow Junction (Bluegrass)
- 2:20 p.m. Hello Mahalo (Alternative Rock)
- 3:05 p.m. Walter the Orange Ocean (Pop Rock)
- 3:50 p.m. The Pandas (Instrumental Exotica)
- 4:35 p.m. Audrey Silver (Jazz)
- 5:20 p.m. The Bee?s Knees (Americana/Pop)
Street performers will perform everything from African-Brazilian Capoeira demonstrations, a cappella groups, acoustic music, dance and many more genres of performance art throughout the exhibition area. The popular Youth Activities area, which has been a popular attraction for families attending stART, features interactive art activities hosted by representatives from local cultural organizations.
stART on the Street '07: The Creative City is presented by The Worcester ARTS Alliance, whose members are available for interviews by contacting us at info@startonthestreet.org.
