Korean War Memorial of Centreal Mass Dedication

After seven years the Korean War Memorial of Central Mass will be completed and dedicated!
Newly completed Phase II work includes:
-Heroic-size bronze sculptures of a Korean War era G.I. and Korean Boy
-Six educational signs detailing the history of the Korean War
-Eight additional flagpoles with American flags, Special recognition of the Puerto Rican 65th Infantry Regiment
-Addition to the Walkway of Honor that includes memorial bricks for the 105 Massachusetts' fallen war heroes from Desert Storm through Afghanistan and Operation Iraqi Freedom and six U.S. war correspondents who died while reporting on the war
-Granite seating wall and new plantings in a tree-shaded, park like setting
