Save Jim Racicot!
I love his special on PBS. It's strange and weird! But I love it! Don't lose him!

NEED VISABILITY ?
The best local outlet, the best way to connect with the people of Worcester is by appearing on WCCA TV 13, "The People's Channel". It is terrific that so many candidates have taken advantage of this amazing public access station.
After 21 years of great community programming, along with the very high regard our community has of WCCA TV, everyone knows they are welcome to participate in Worcester's (WCCA's) public access process. WCCA TV is totally accessible public access television.
Everyone is concerned with the ridiculous and embarrassing amount of time it is taking the city to nail down a franchise contract that will help WCCA TV continue to expand its mission county wide.
There is no excuse why the city administration has not stepped forward to address the need as already established by Worcester Citizens through numerous community forums, surveys, focus groups and public outcry to support, with urgency, our WCCA TV 13.
To me, WCCA TV is a vital source of community resources, news, information, culture and entertainment. I've been a fan and volunteer for five years ( although I am now a student in Connecticut visiting this weekend ) If those at City Hall really care about the people who pay taxes and all the rest of us citizens then they should make WCCA TV a priority. What is the matter with them?
Perhaps those accountable for such delays and for not stepping up in favor of WCCA TV, should NOT be elected or appointed to official positions. Stop being in bed with the cable company and do something for us people.
SAVE WCCA TV.
