Mayoral Debate at the Dive Bar

I was happy to see WCCA play a small part in last night's a Mayoral debate which was held at the Dive Bar, a local watering hole in Worcester. Stay tuned to WCCA TV as we intend to cable and webcast the event as soon as possible. In the history of politics in the United States and elsewhere, it may not be a unique setting for such an activity. Much of the revolution was planned in the taverns with plenty of good ale around, I might add. However, event organizer Brendon Melican ,radioball is right when he writes ,"Present day Worcester has allowed itself to compartmentalize politics in a way that keeps it separate from everyday life in present day Worcester". Perhaps that is why many people do not vote. Most may feel disconnected at numerous levels. Congrats to Brendon and those who participated, for playing a part in breaking barriers. Keeping it real. WCCA TV 13 looks forward to airing the program as soon as KAZ of Worcester Love completes the editing. In the meantime, read more on Brendon's site and on Wormtown Taxi Blog sites.
