Things NOT to Miss in Worcester

ART IN THE PARK:
Elm Park, Highland Street and Park Avenue, will be the place to be on Thursday, August 6th for the Opening Ceremonies of Art in the Park 2009, 6-8 p.m. The Worcester Cultural Commission invites you to join them in meeting the artists and browsing spectacular oversized sculptures on exhibit throughout the historic park. Also enjoy the sounds of The Dinosaurs in concert at 6:30 p.m. as part of Park Spirit's Elm Park Summer Concert series.

A host of activities related to Art in the Park have been planned including ART in the PARKing Lot on Sunday, August 9th; Art that Hangs Around on Thursday, August 13th; 2nd Annual Creative Laundry Day on Friday, August 14th; and Fresh Floral Art on Saturday, August 15th. Full schedule and further details available online. Art in the Park will be on exhibit through October 1, 2009

preceding the opening night performance of STOMP

Proceeds benefit The Bridge, a non-profit human services agency serving 500 children and adults in nine towns,including Worcester
