WCCA TV's Band Edge has recently made some great advances in recording live bands in our studio. I was remembering some sessions we did in the old days, with teh Johnny Dollar Experiment. This show was really a pilot for the current Band Edge show. In the spirit of teh holiday, I thought it would be kind of nice to place an encore of "Deck the Halls" a traditional tune done up Johnny Dollar Experiment style.
Shot at WCCA TV 13 of course. Enjoy! Oh, and Merry Christmas .

BAND EDGE gets ready for a new season

ATTENTION BANDS AND PERFORMING ARTIST:

WCCA TV's live-in-studio music showcase "BAND EDGE" has completed it's fall season and will be resuming a new season in January 2009.

Thank you to the eight local Worcester area groups who have participated for the fall season:
Beatles For Sale, Tall Heights, Dan Lewis, Matt Schwachman, Pueblo Nuevo, Johnny Dollar Experiment, WPI Stage Band, Carmen Spada.

We look forward to another great season showcasing local talent on the music scene. WCCA supports local music and we thank everyone for their support of public access television.

BAND EDGE

Band Edge is a WCCA TV 13 production highlighting local area music. All genres are welcome to participate, solo artist, track artist, bands, and performing songwriters.

Band Edge is a half hour show which will include a showcase your music or group. At the end of the season we intend to feature clips of each performance in the form of a competition where viewers can vote on line for their favorite act.

Bands must provide their own equipment, and audio mix, WCCA provides the cameras and the channels of distribution which includes ch 13 and wccatv.com

To participate: Send an email identifying: The name of your act, the genre ( rock, folk, jazz, etc), type of performance ( band or solo ), links to your website and or samples of your music, your contact info. EMAIL SUBJECT BAND EDGE TV 13
