36 Students and 10 Organizations Honored last Night at WCCA's Youth Media Honor Awards

WCCA TV presented YOUTH MEDIA HONOR AWARDS last night on
Tuesday, June 23rd 2009, 5:30 PM to 7 PM at WCCA TV 415 Main St. Worcester, MA

WCCA Summer General Membership dedicated the evening by honoring Youth Media. Over 70 people joined the WCCA Board of Directors and Staff as the community media public access station presented thirty six (36) Youth Media Honor Awards were presented to the following students, Interns in addition to ten (10) supporting organizations:

Victoria Bohush, Derek Pettinelli, Jeremy Zendzian,
Douglas Brady, Tiana Felix, Jake Glass, Zane Provost,
Adrianna Casassa and Christopher Lajeunesse

WCCA TV 13 invites you to attend our Summer General Membership meeting honoring Youth Media. Recognizing the importance of celebrating and encouraging youth media activities at WCCA TV, we invite you to please join us as we acknowledge the hard work and creativity of all our youth media participants. Join us as we encourage continued participation of interns from local colleges, youth volunteers, peer trainers, and local youth program partnerships with Dynamy Inc, Community Connections (WPS), and the Youth Center have worked in close partnerships with WCCA TV for many years. The results of their works have expanded the scope of our local youth voices, build community bridges, and in numerous cases have inspired meaningful careers in media for many as professional communicators and teachers of media arts.
