Call for artists: Art Attack 2007

This year, WCCA's annual "Art Attack" festival of film, video, art, and music will be held Saturday, September 29, 2007.

WCCA is inviting visual, performance, video, music, and spoken word artists to participate.

The theme: "Art for Justice."

The intent of this year’s event will celebrate the use of diverse artistic venues for social justice causes and civic engagement.

A Public Access center is a creative media arts center that can play a substantial role in social justice advocacy and public awareness. The event will also highlight relevant work produced by public access members.

Artists interested in participating, performing, or sharing 3-5 minute video clips or to speak on the subject are invited to contact Mauro DePasquale at WCCA TV 13 at 508-755-1880 or via email mauro@wccatv.org.

Proceeds from Art Attack will support WCCA’s ongoing operational budget.

WCCA TV is a 501c3 charitable organization. Donations for the event are welcome.
