Snow Ghost episode

Public Access should be a must carry over Broadband

Public Access television programming, as part of an open forum, niche programming and clearing house for community media, is not or should never be subject to traditional television standards or commercial marketing values, however, in addition to the 91% of Worcester residence who feel WCCA TV is important and the 71% or residence in the city who watch it sometimes to frequently, it is worth noting that there has been well over a thousand downloads of various WCCA TV programs on line. That in combination with a large number of site hits heightens the value of public awareness and success of our mission. This is good news for not just our great producers or WCCA TV but for our entire city.

Public Access is a valuable service at a great many number of levels. The high level of activity to express, carry out and share free speech (views & opinions), civic engagement, news, exchange of information, entertainment, government transparency, arts and culture, neighborhoods and community outreach, education, activism, youth media opportunities, technology learning and so much more are worth millions of dollars in the commercial market.

We recognize that we could be doing more as well and stand dedicated to do so.

No city or town can afford to loose or diminish funding for public access.

Thanks to the many volunteer producers and crew members, host, and supporters of WCCA TV 13 "The People's Channel". Keep up the great work.
