New Hope Diner Project - Vintage Diner Lecture and Tour of the Blackstone Valley Massachusetts/Rhode Island. The lecture will outline the great history of the American Diner that all began in Providence, Rhode Island & Worcester, Massachusetts the early diner manufacturing capital. Proceeds from the tour will benefit the New Hope Diner Project, a collaborative effort to provide job training and education to the youth of Rhode Island and Rhode Island Division of Juvenile Correctional Services, through the restoration and operation of vintage diners.
