Black Legacy Presents #3

Black Legacy Presents is a production of the Black Legacy Coalition, a volunteer group looking to help make Worcester a city where the broader Black community thrives. Meet Worcester Community Labor Coalition representatives Robert Thomas and Frank Karthizer as well as former Mayor Joseph O’Brien as we discuss how economic development can and should be community development; Shannon Ospina talks about the role you can have in shaping the public school system through participating in CPPAC; Sabine Dupoux talks about what Boston Naturals is offering here in Worcester for people rocking their natural hair; Robert Anderson shares the history of W.E.C. Productions and gives a sneak peak at one of the songs on their album “Echoes From the Past”; and Trooper Joe shares a glimpse of our history through African American folktales.
