Black Legacy Presents is a production of the Black Legacy Coalition, a volunteer group looking to help make Worcester a city where the broader Black community thrives. Join us in a tribute to Dr. Maya Angelou; learn more about the upcoming African American Juneteenth Festival on June 28th from committee members Tammie Allen, Parlee Jones, Chuck Chillin’ and Keesha LaTulippe; Meet Mr. Carmona and Mr. Laporte and their business Intoxicated Art; Ms. Sheila King-Goodwin shares with us the upcoming Debutante Gala of Belmont AME Zion Church that will be held on June 28th; learn about what RCAP Solutions is doing to raise funds and uplift local artists from Maegen McCafrey; hear about the upcoming reading of the Frederick Douglass speech at City Hall Common; and Keith Scott lets us know what is going on in June in the city of Worcester.
