Happy Belated Valentine’s Day! It’s cold outside, but don’t worry. There is plenty of love coming through your TV screen directly from our WCCA studios! Yes, we have many interesting programs to keep you entertained. What’s on Channel 13? Lots of great programming such as HOLLYWOOD MAKEOVER: Movie Making Tips for Teens. This show teaches independent film production to young adults.

JAZZ FROM THE COMBS is a program featuring live quality jazz, hosted by Harry Platcow.

AROUND THE DISTRICT is a new program hosted by State Representative for the 16th Worcester District, Dan Donahue.

‘ESPERANZA Y SU EXITO ‘, which translates to ‘Hope and Your Success’, is a non-profit, Spanish language TV program co-produced and hosted by local educator, Esperanza Donovan-Pendzic. Each thirty-minute episode covers many topics such as health awareness, finance, politics, socio-economic issues, cultural arts, food and education.

The Shine Initiative Executive Director Paul Richard talks about the impact of stigma and mental illness with guests Dr. Stephanie Rodrigues, Angela Wallace and Kim Pehi. Dr. Rodrigues, an assistant professor at the UMass Medical School Department of Psychiatry, is conducting research on the effect of stigma and people with mental illness.
