*Tax Preparer and Greeter positions available! After a highly successful tax season
this past year, Worcester Free Tax Service Coalition is gearing up for this season!
If you are interested in becoming a volunteer this year (January-April), please
contact Yasmine Shawwaf at Yasmine.Shawwaf@unitedwaycm.org Last year, because of the
hard work and dedication of our volunteers, the coalition prepared 1,975 tax returns
and $3,448,340. Each year, our volunteers help local families move toward financial
stability by helping them avoid costly tax preparation fees and getting our clients
all of the credits they qualify for and deserve! This year, we hope you can help
local families again. According to the U.S. Census, 22% of Worcester residents live
in poverty. Our work helps move these families toward financial stability and it
could not be possible without the dedication of our volunteers. Worcester Free Tax
