This Month at WCCA TV, The People’s Channel
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all our members, friends and
supporters! Start the new year right by taking a TV Production
certification course and becoming a producer member at WCCA TV in
2018. Our next TV Production Course starts on January 6th and it’s
held at our facility, in downtown Worcester. The course is a MUST for
all aspiring TV producers, as it provides valuable information about
all components involved in the TV-production process. The course is
offered on a first-come-first-serve basis. To reserve your seat, call

WCCA TV Special Presentations
Joseph Townsend, of WCCA TV, interviews Extreme Skater, Dean
Moriarity, and Touring Publicist, Julie Desmarais, of Cirque Du
Soleil Crystal.
The topic of discussion is their recent show at the DCU Center in
Worcester, MA.
The League of Women Voters of the Worcester area held a public
forum on fake news and media literacy at the First Baptist Church in
Worcester. The forum, titled Media Literacy and Fake News: Decoding
Media in 2017,
featured a panel of journalists to address questions regarding the
distortion of truth in the modern media world and how news influences
civil discourse.

program that shows viewers how to participate and become active in
Worcester. Ron welcomes Edward O’Connor, the Director of
Veterans

in Worcester. - Connecting The Dots is a non-traditional legal program with the
emphasis on the attorney as a trusted advisor, with an
interdisciplinary approach to solving life’s issues. Host of the
program, Attorney Liz Myska, welcomes Debra
Pallatto-Fontaine from Becker College. In another episode, Liz chats with Andrew Freilech, the Executive Director at The Willows of Worcester and Andrew Salmon, the Director of Network Development at The Willows of
Worcester. - Ramona Pokoly is the host of Ramona Interviews, a talk show that
features interesting guests from all walks of life. Ramona’s guest is
Daniel Hartwell, the author of the book Saint John
Lennon. In
another episode, Ramona welcomes Masheri Chappelle, the author of the
book The Oracle Files:
Escape. - Perspectives with Asima Silva is a WCCA TV program that features
local and national guests sharing their perspectives on politics,
current events, mental and emotional health,
as well as religion. Today’s episode features Humayun Kabeer from
Helping Hand for Relief and
Development.
In another episode, Asima talks with Adam Carroll from the Burma Task
Force. - This Is Worcester is a WCCA TV program, hosted and produced by
community activist Bill Coleman. The program focuses on interesting
Worcester facts. In this episode, Bill talks about the World War II
Honor Roll Worcester Citizens of Color Monument Rededication
Ceremony. - Tune into Hidden Treasures as host Bill Safer helps you learn
how to find that hidden antique or
collectible that just may add cash to your life. Today’s hidden
treasure is Bill’s guest Mike Leatherdale, here to educate us about
homing
pigeons. - Health Matters is a WCCA TV program from the Worcester District
Medical Society. Host Dr. James Broadhurst welcomes to the show
Angelina Cocoand and Tina Grosowsky. The topic of discussion is
tobacco and
cigarettes.
Because your health matters! - Sound Check, produced by Stefano Traficante, is a real-life,
unscripted music program featuring the local talents of bands and song
writers in the Worcester local area. This episode features Local Mix
#4 – an
arrangement of local talent and images. - Ben Behind The Scenes is a WCCA TV program that showcases music
videos, interviews, reviews, and short films. The show is produced and
hosted by Ben Allotey, one of WCCA TV’s longest active producers. Tune
into another episode of pure
entertainment. - Tune into WCCA TV for a special edition of Video Jam: Video Jam
Christmas 2017. This special presentation, hosted by your favorite
