VOLUNTEERS TO CONGRATULATE

I ran a tally , from the CURRENT roster of WCCA TV Community television LOCAL ORIGINATED SHOWS and I am pleased to announce that WCCA TV has presented over 9,210 individual WORCESTER CENTRIC community television shows. This amazing accomplishment reflects the high level of dedicated VOLUNTEER commitment from our WCCA TV member producers and creators as they give so much of their time, skill, and passion, toward building community through electronic media.

This number does not include all our current community productions; it represents those who have produced 100 shows or more and who are currently in PRODUCTION. There are many more single episodes, specials, and other community productions that are not included in this number.

Every day of the week you will find WCCA TV community volunteers, on the job, creating, learning, connecting and supporting community development in meaningful way. WCCA TV is a true community creative space. Our volunteers and the WCCA TV Staff who supports all the creativity at WCCA are to be congratulated and celebrated. We will be posting a full list of the amazing shows and producers soon. Stay tuned!

Since 1986, WCCA TV has always been a creative space and a place that has engaged people of all backgrounds in bringing the city to life through creative expression of story telling, engaging community television talk programming, music, dance, television journalism, dramatic arts and film/video making, public art and multi media works, and to exercise free speech. It’s a space for everyone to get engaged in the arts in an active way.
A diversity of thousands of people attended WCCA educational class and workshops, participated in content creation, our public events, and our programs are seen in Worcester and around the world on line.
