This Month at WCCA TV, The People’s Channel

Hello everyone, hope you’re having a nice and exciting summer. Summer at WCCA TV has been busy and productive, and we wouldn’t have it any other way! We ran a tally from the current roster of WCCA TV community-television local-originated shows and are pleased to announce that WCCA TV has presented around 10,000 individual Worcester-centric community television shows ( LOCAL ORIGINATED SHOWS ). This amazing accomplishment reflects the high level of dedicated volunteer-commitment from our WCCA TV member producers and creators, as they give so much of their time, skill, and passion toward building community through electronic media.
This number does not include all our current community productions – it only represents those who have produced 100 shows or more and who are currently in production. There are many more single episodes, specials, and other community productions that are not included in this number.
Every day of the week you will find WCCA TV community volunteers, on the job, creating, learning, connecting and supporting community development in meaningful ways. WCCA TV is a true community creative space. But in order to keep our community programming and services running, we also need your help. Keep WCCA TV on the air with your donation or by underwriting specific programming through our Circle of Friends. We’re a registered 501(c)3 non-profit, so all donations are tax deductible. Got It Covered, hosted by Victor Infante, is a new WCCA TV program that features some of our favorite musicians from around the region, performing music they might not have usually chosen. Featured artist in this episode is LOVINA , who performs ”Live to Tell” by Madonna. Exclusively on WCCA TV!

Time for a coffee break and another episode of Coffee with Konnie. Join City Councilor Konnie Lukes and her guests as they discuss city issues at Worcester area coffee shops. Konnie has coffee at the Worcester Club with Moira Moynihan-Manoog.
Know Your Rights is a show to inform viewers of their civil rights, hosted by Ron Madnick. In this episode, Ron talks about the Bill of Rights.
Activate Worcester, hosted by Ron Motta, is a WCCA TV program that shows viewers how to participate and become active in Worcester. Ron welcomes Scott Lively, a candidate for Governor of Massachusetts.
What It’s Worth is a WCCA TV show definitely worth watching! Host of the show, Tommy Colletta, welcomes Carmelita Bello from the Mt Carmel Preservation Society back to the show.
This Is Worcester is a WCCA TV program, hosted and produced by community activist Bill Coleman. Bill welcomes Robert Evans to the show to talk about Worcester’s Soul Food scene. In another episode, Bill welcomes members of the Worcester Public Library Knitting Circle to the show.
Connecting The Dots is a non-traditional legal program with the emphasis on the attorney as a trusted advisor, with an interdisciplinary approach to solving life’s issues. Host of the program, Attorney Liz Myska, welcomes Larry Raymond back to the show.
Static Fusion is an alternative performance art and musical variety program, produced with the facilities of WCCA TV. The program is put together by the creative genius of Jim Racicot and Uncle Allen. Uncle Allen takes us down Memory Lane.
Ben Behind The Scenes is a WCCA TV program that showcases music videos, interviews, reviews, and short films. The show is produced and hosted by Ben Allotey, one of WCCA TV’s longest active producers. Tune into another episode of pure entertainment.
Video Jam is your source for eclectic music videos. Your favorite host, Tracy Foley, has been presenting mainstream and indie rock for more than 10 years on cable TV public access stations. Today’s Playlist features: The Looking – Summer of ’76, The Looking – The Well, Jett Edwards – Love and Peace, Bad Wolves – Zombie, Liz Kennedy – Everyone Knows How It Goes, The Hills and the Rivers – The Fool, Les Stroud – How Long, Man Made Time – Fool, and more. Senior Speak is a program by WCCA TV in collaboration with the Worcester Senior Center. Senior issues are discussed and a good time is had by all. Senior Speak is recorded at the Worcester Senior Center, located at 128 Providence St., on Tuesdays at 2 PM. Stop by and be a part of the show!
