WCCA TV Special Presentations

WCCA TV 194 recently held a Candidates Open Mic at the WCCA TV studio for all School Committee and City Council Candidates. This special presentation was hosted by Mauro DePasquale, Executive Director of WCCA TV – the People’s Channel. Don’t forget to vote on November 5!

WCCA TV’s community producer, Barbara Roberts, continues her series titled “Racism – We Can Do Without It” produced at WCCA. Part 3 of the series, Ending Racism, hosted by Barbara and Mauro DePasquale, brings a frank and meaningful discussion of shared stories and experiences. This episode features Maria Pappas and Lynn Guzman of two different cultural backgrounds, but with similar experiences that many of us share. Host of the show and WCCA TV’s Executive Director, Mauro DePasquale, welcomes Adrien Finlay, Executive Director of Music Worcester; Tina Zlody and Nikki Erskine to tell us about stART on the Street; and Chris Simpson, the owner and founder of Sail to Trail WineWorks. Soapbox can be seen on WCCA TV, Channel 194 in Worcester, and streaming live worldwide at www.wccatv.com on Saturdays at 10:30 pm and Sundays at 6:30 pm.   • The 2019 Municipal Election is right around the corner! Tune in to a new episode of Rosen’s Round Table and watch host Gary Rosen and his panel members trying to forecast the outcome of this Election. And who will be the next mayor of the Woo? In another episode, the guys talk specifically about the Mayoral Race in Worcester. Exclusively on WCCA TV 194!
  • Beacon Hill Chat is a talk show that features interesting people talking about the interesting things going on in Central Massachusetts. Host of the program, State Senator Harriette Chandler, welcomes to the show Deborah Packard and Phil Niddrie to share their experience to save Stern’s Tavern. In another episode, Senator Chandler talks to Worcester’s Assistant City Clerk Niko Vangjeli about the upcoming elections.
  • Health Matters is a WCCA TV program in collaboration with the Worcester District Medical Society. Host Dr. Bruce Karlin welcomes Dr. Alwyn Rapose to the show. The topic of discussion is Vaccines. Because your health matters!
  • Activate Worcester, hosted by Ron Motta, is a WCCA TV program that shows viewers how to participate and become active in Worcester. Ron welcomes City Council Candidate Donna Colorio back to the show.
  • Connecting The Dots is a non-traditional legal program with the emphasis on the attorney as a trusted advisor, with an interdisciplinary approach to solving life’s issues. Host of the program, Attorney Liz Myska, welcomes Satya Mitra to the show.
    • This Is Worcester is a WCCA TV program hosted and produced by community activist Bill Coleman. The program focuses on interesting Worcester area facts and history. Bill welcomes to the show Peter Stefan, Director of the Graham, Putnam & Mahoney Funeral Home in Worcester.
  • Perspectives, hosted by Asima Silva, is a WCCA TV show that features local and national guests sharing their perspectives on politics, current events, mental & emotional health, and religion. Asima’s guests are Dr. Sana Qutubuddin and Mohammed Jawad from IAMC.
  • Welcome to Hidden Treasures! Host of the show, Bill Safer, helps you learn how to find that hidden antique or collectible that just may add cash to your life. Bill’s guest is auctioneer Ron D’Auteuil. The topic of discussion is Estate Auctions.
  • Video Jam is your source for eclectic music videos. Your favorite host, Tracy Foley, has been presenting mainstream and indie rock for more than 10 years on cable TV public access stations. Today’s special Halloween-themed Video Jam features: Nick De La Hoyde – Ghost; Earthquake Lights – Moonlight; Wang Chung – Everybody Have Fun Tonight; Waldowitt – Crystalball; Haille Steinfeld – Afterlife; Cheroke – Goddess; Xxxtentacion – Moonlight; Coco O’Connor – The Devil, a Wounded Man and Me.   • Tune in to Video Jam Country and spend an hour enjoying the latest and greatest in country music with host Tracy Foley.   • Ben Behind The Scenes is a WCCA TV program that showcases music videos, interviews, reviews, and short films. The show is produced and hosted by Ben Allotey, one of WCCA TV’s longest active producers. Tune into another episode of pure entertainment.
  • Senior Speak is a program by WCCA TV in collaboration with the Worcester Senior Center. Senior issues are discussed and a good time is had by all. Senior Speak is recorded at the Worcester Senior Center, located at 128 Providence St, on Tuesdays at 2 PM. Stop by and be a part of the show!
