WCCA TV Honored by Worcester Public Schools
The Worcester Public Schools nominated WCCA TV 13 for our work with the College of Community Connections program. The Award will be presented to WCCA TV’s Mauro DePasquale and Bill Hamilton, on June 5th by the Central Massachusetts Workforce Investment Board. WCCA TV will receive the GROW Award Nomination Certificate.

WCCA TV and Mauro DePasquale to Receive Action Heroes Award from WCAC
WCCA TV 13 and Mauro DePasquale have been selected to receive an Action Hero Award during the 6th annual Action Heroes Awards event held by the Worcester Community Action Council on May 16, 2012 at the Mass College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in Worcester. Worcester Community Action Council is giving special recognition to hereos who have contributed to the agency through community outreach and advocacy.
Poetry Taped at Barnes & Noble to Air on WCCA TV
WCCA TV 13 will air the new special, Poetry, Tuesday, March 27 at 1pm, Wednesday, March 28 at 6pm, Friday, March 30 at 10:30am and 2:30pm and Sun April 1 at 8:30pm. The special is a recording of the open mic poetry night at Barnes and Noble in Worcester sponsored by the Worcester Poetry Association.
