Chandler Chat 483 Bill Wallace

On this episode of the Chandler Chat, Harriette Chandler welcomes back William (Bill) Wallace to reflect on his 50 years as Executive Director of the recently rebranded Museum of Worcester. They discuss one of his first exhibits at the museum about the Eastern European Jewish immigrant community on Water Street, to working with other ethnic groups to record their history in Worcester, to industrial history and the history of the city's LGBTQ community, and much more. Finally, they speak on the city's renaming a block of Elm Street in front of the Museum "William Wallace Way" in honor of his five decades of service to Worcester and it's history.
