On this episode of the Chandler Chat, host Harriette Chandler welcomes Emily Lehman-Miller, Administrative Director of College & Career Readiness at the Worcester Public Schools (WPS), to discuss the district's College Pathway Programs and Career Technical Education (CTE), both designed to help students achieve after graduating. The College Pathway programs include Advanced Placement (AP) college-level courses, Advancement via Individual Determination (AVID), Dual Enrollment, Early College Worcester (ECW), Goddard Scholars Academy and the Hanover Insurance Academy for the Arts. They discuss the admissions policy for the programs, with more applicants than there are seats available, and how they plan to grow to accommodate more students in future.
