On this episode of the Chandler Chat, host Harriette Chandler welcomes Kate McEvoy, President and Publisher at Merit House Media, which has recently partnered with Rucker Investments and taken over publication of local Worcester-based Pulse Magazine and it's sibling publication CM Pride Magazine. They discuss what Pulse Mag offers to Worcesterites and Central MA residents, with a monthly spotlight on food, music, arts, and events worth knowing about, completely free for its readership in print and online. They also speak on the bi-monthly CM Pride Mag, the only LGBTQ+ magazine in the Central MA region. Finally, they discuss the future plans for the magazines, from publishing obituaries where that has become prohibitively expensive for most people, to covering local and important real estate deals.
