On this episode of the Chandler Chat, host Harriette Chandler welcomes Andrea Bazarian, principal of the Nativity School of Worcester, and Nahla, an 8th grade student. The Nativity School is an accredited, independent Jesuit middle school that has for over 20 years provided tuition-free private education to the underserved, and has recently begun admitting girls for the first time in 2024, of whom Nahla is one of their first students set to graduate later this year. They speak on the advantages and important skills that the school provides, from smaller class sizes, organization, communication, financial literacy, and public service. They discuss their special "Summer of Service" program, where each student participates in public service, volunteering with local community organizations and exploring the issues that affect the greater Worcester community.
The deadline for admissions in on February 27th.
