On this episode of Close to Home, host Maureen Schwab interviews Mauro DePasquale, Executive Director of our public access TV station WCCA TV, channel 194 in Worcester, MA. They discuss the early days of the station, and how reaching out to religious groups for public programming in the late 80s and early 90s led Mauro to meeting Ruth Pakaluk. They discuss how her passion for the pro-life movement and vision for public outreach created Close to Home, which she hosted and produced for the studio from 1995-98 when she tragically passed at the age of 41.
