On this episode of Coffee with Konnie, host Konnie Lukes interviews Davis Baird, Professor of Philosophy at Clark University, about his recent book 'Natural Religion: A None’s Journey of Religious Discovery,' which features many sermons and writings of his late grandfather Earl Clement Davis, a unitarian minister during the first half of the 20th century who denied all supernatural aspects of religion and advocated for a deeper understanding of science and the material world. With the rediscovery and publishing of his grandfather's writings, Professor Baird examines many questions that continue to plague us, and shows how a better understanding of the complexity of the past can help us come to terms with the our present.
