Imagine Worcester: David Woessner

Virginia Swain interviews David Woessner, a 2013 graduating student at Harvard Divinity School. He is a published author and former Professor at the University of Colorado for Environmental Studies and Department of Philosophy among many other appointments. Dave received his MA from the University of Chicago in Philosophy in 2005 and graduated magna cum laude from Washington and Jefferson College in Philosophy in 2002. He specializes in ancient Greek and Roman Philosophy, Theories of Interpersonal Relationships, and Friendship, Care and Learning. His areas of competence are ethics, history of ethics, environmental ethics, political philosophy, Buddhist philosophy, Heidegger, Hume and philosophy of science. He is the Treasurer of the North American Samantha Foundation (Buddhist) and President of the Graduate Student Association, Department of Philosophy, University of Chicago.
