A show about peace hosted by Virginia Swain. Monika Kolodziej, PhD. Monika, originally from Poland and Canada, is an expert in identifying and providing excellent treatment to persons in recovery from substance addiction and co-occurring conditions. Her graduate school training at Syracuse University is now being merged and integrated with her experiences and training in the following areas: as a psychologist in the Addiction and Comorbidity Treatment Services at Ambulatory Psychiatry Services, UMASs Memorial Medical Group; as Assistant Professor of Psychiatry and Research Associate in Psychology at UMASS and Harvard Medical School; as a Project Director at UMass Medical School. Monika has a distinguished background in clinical psychology and co-addiction with many committee, coalition and editorial board responsibilities in her field. Additionally, she has published many articles, book chapters and conference proceedings. As co-chair of the Central MA Addiction Consortium at UMASS Medical School since 2007, Monika led a team of co-sponsors to produce a yearly conference on substance addiction.
