On this first episode of a series on Perspectives with Asima Silva, Asima interviews her cousin, Dr. Syed Aziz-Ur Rahman, who has just returned to the states from a two-week volunteer trip at one of the last remaining medical facilities in occupied Gaza with the organization Rahma Worldwide. He speaks on how his faith and moral convictions led him to risk his life for those suffering in Gaza, and details just some of the horrors he witnessed from the emergency room, from the widespread hunger, lack of medical supplies and mass civilian casualties resulting from constant Israeli aerial bombardment.
