Father's Fest 2013

WCCA TV was a media sponsor for the 12th annual Father's Fest at Institute Park in Worcester in June 2013 by Worcester County Father's and Family Network. There was free ice cream, live entertainment, games, the Worcester Wildcats, and the Toe Jam puppet band. WCCA TV 13, Family Continuity and many other area providers had resources available at various tables. The Worcester County Fathers & Family Network is made up of community organizations, professionals, and fathers who promote responsible fatherhood and raise community awareness of the importance of fathers in the lives of their children with an emphasis on improving parenting, enhancing fathers' self awareness, and expanding opportunities for training and employment to fulfill fathers' personal and financial responsibilities of caring for children.
