On this new series from WCCA TV, host Deacon Walter Doyle introduces us to Streetlights, where he shares moving and true stories from his 46 years as co-director of the Urban Missionaries of Our Lady of Hope, helping "the least, the last and the left-out." While these stories may be about everyday people, some who need just a little help and some who are in dire straights, all these stories spark reflection and compassion, and hopefully move you to perform "reckless acts of caring" in your own life! In this second episode Walter speaks on working with the "Young Neighbors in Action", a week-long mission for Catholic School students who volunteer to give back to their communities in various ways, meeting Father Phuong Van Nguyen, a priest who's untimely death shook the Worcester Vietnamese community, and a story about reaching out to lonely souls during the Covid pandemic.
