What It's Worth 497: Preservation Worcester and Rural Remains

What It's Worth is a WCCA TV program featuring offbeat interviews with inspiring locals, artists, musicians, actors, and creatives from the Millennial and Gen Z communities. In this episode, host Tommy Colletta and co-host Caitlyn Marsh talk with Harry Albert, docent for Preservation Worcester, about Rural Remains, a theatrical event that brings history to life with costumed actors, lantern-lit paths, and true tales from Worcester's past, set in historic Rural Cemetery, 180 Grove St., Worcester, on Oct. 9, 16, and 23. Attendees will hear the fascinating stories of notable Worcester leaders interred there as they are guided by flashlight to multiple grave sites. Tours start every 15 minutes between 5:30 p.m. and 8 p.m., last about an hour, and require one mile of walking in the dark by flashlight. The material is not recommended for children under 13.
